The ocean has always been a part of our story. Christina grew up going to surfing camp at this very beach while James spent his summers nearby in Stonington with his family. When we later met working at the Saugatuck Harbor Yacht Club, it felt like the coast had been quietly tying our stories together all along.
The Ocean House is more than just our wedding venue, its a place that captures our past, our present, and now, the beginning of our forever.
We can’t wait to share this special place with all of you, surrounded by the water, the memories, and the people that mean the most to us.

HOTELS
We have reserved hotel blocks at The Ocean House, The Whaler’s Inn, and the Hilton Mystic. To take advantage of these blocks, please see directions below.

For additional accommodations, we recommend the Delamar Mystic or Airbnb options in the Mystic area. If you are considering an Airbnb, we encourage booking early, as availability in the summer months tends to be limited.
TRANSPORTATION
To make travel easy, buses will be provided between the hotels and the wedding venue.
On Saturday, buses will depart promptly at 4:30 PM from both the Hilton Mystic and The Whaler’s Inn to bring guests to the Ocean House.
For the return, buses will leave the Ocean House at 10:00 PM and again at 11:00 PM, stopping at both the Whaler’s Inn and Hilton Mystic.
We kindly encourage all guests to take advantage of these transportation options, as parking is limited at the Ocean House and in the Watch Hill area.
DRESS CODE
Welcome Party:
Dressy Casual
Casual cocktail dresses, midi-sundresses, or cute separates for women; chinos/slacks and button-downs (short or long sleeve) for men.
Ceremony and Reception:
Formal
Summery colors, lightweight fabrics, and florals. For women, more formal dresses/attire; for men, suits.
Goodbye Brunch:
Connecticut Casual
Summer linens, sundresses, shorts, and polos.
